Inside the Cabin
Designers have brought the exterior “race-track” look to the interior of the all new S60. The S60 boasts a spacious and refined cabin, with driver-orientated details and five seats with sculpted outer rear seats providing the middle passenger side support. With plenty of accessible storage space, increased knee space and a wider boot opening, the new generation S60 is no doubt more spacious and comfortable than ever before.
The upholstery can be picked to suit your taste, whether it be black, beige or even the new highlight shade of beechwood brown – a tan leather upholstery that traces its roots back to the classic Volvo P1800 ES and 164.
The all-new Volvo S60 features the Electronic Climate Control System (ECC) offering automatic control of both temperature and ventilation, and a new Infotainment System integrating information from the audio unit, navigation system, mobile phone and other functions into a five- or seven- inch colour screen. All the functions can be controlled from the steering wheel or by using the controls below the colour screen. There is also an additional remote control for passengers to use.
Both voice control navigation and Bluetooth are also available as an option.
The Volvo S60 is one of the first cars in the world to use Audyssey Laboratories MultEQ technology. A system which removes distortion caused by the cabin’s acoustics, enabling crisp, clear sound for everyone in the car.
